Sensei Johan Pretorius
Johan started karate in 1987 under Sensei George Viviers that was then known as the E.K.S.K dojo, founded in 1975, today known as Zanshin.
His goals at the time were simple, get his first black belt, compete internationally, and run his own dojo.
At the age of 19, he realized these goals and competed in France for South Africa as a black belt and joined Zanshin as an instructor.
Since then he has stayed true to his karate and achieved his Firth-Dan (Go-Dan) in 2015.
He is now the Dojo Head for Zanshin and have expanded the dojo to 3 locations being fortunate enough to send many of his students to competitions both locally and internationally.
